Before your first visit
A photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and your glasses or contacts. If you have prior eye records or imaging, bring those too, or we'll request them for you.
Every retina exam includes dilating drops, which blur near vision for a few hours. Plan for a driver, and bring sunglasses for the ride home.
